Change Internationals client, a leading provider of heavy lift and offshore construction services in the Asia Pacific region now requires a Malaysian speaking Junior DPO to join them aboard their state of the art DP3 Subsea Construction vessel. The vessel is currently engaged in Vietnam. Candidates should be able to commence employment immediately.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company on a renewable 1 year contract and further develop your career overseeing challenging projects.

As Junior DPO you will assist the DPO’s and SDPO with the running of the DP desk. Additional responsibilities will include:

– Gaining DP time on the desk – Safely handling the vessel – Completing navigation charts – Completion of company paperwork – Acting as officer of the watch – Radio communication duties.

Requirements:

– OOW Unlimited COC – STCW95 Certified – Fluent Malaysian – Experienced as 3rd Officer or equivalent. – Happy to work in Vietnamese waters – Able to work to a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation – Able to commence employment Immediately – Salary: 9500R/M (Malaysian Ringgits) per month

– Fault find and repair of malfunctioning equipment – Installation and testing of new equipment – Safe and efficient operation of engine room machinery – Implement the companies planned maintenance system – Make recommendations to the Chief Engineer

Requirements:

– OOW Unlimited COC – STCW95 Certified – Fluent Malaysian – Experienced as 3rd Engineer – Happy to work in Vietnamese waters – Able to work to a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation – Able to commence employment on the 7th February

Salary: 9500R/M (Malaysian Ringgits) per month
