Chief Officer - Self Elevating Liftboat
From: Subsea7 For: Any nationality
The Chief Officer is responsible to the Vessel Master and may act as their deputy on board. They have the responsibility to manage the deck department and carry out Watch Duties; acting as Senior Officer of the Watch and Duty Officer when in Port.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
STCW 95 (A-II/2) Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer II Unlimited) meeting legislative requirements of the Flag State
Recognised Seaman's discharge book
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing in accordance with STCW Code Table A-II/I
Fully conversant with Flag State Maritime Law / Legislation.
Fully conversant with ship's Safety Management System (Ref: ISM Code)
Completed Security Awareness training relevant for the position (Ref: ISPS Code)
Experience of working on board self-elevating liftboats is highly desirable
