2nd Engineer (DSV vessel)
From: Subsea7 For: Any nationality
The Second Engineer may be in charge of an engine room watch and is responsible to the First Engineer and/or Chief Engineer for operations and maintenance of the engine rooms and propulsion equipment.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
STCW 95 (A-II/2) Certificate of Competency (Engineer Officer IV Unlimited) meeting legislative requirements of the Flag State
Recognised Seaman's discharge book
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing in accordance with STCW Code Table A-II/I
Appropriate knowledge of Flag State Maritime Law / Legislation.
Appropriate knowledge of ship's Safety Management System (Ref: ISM Code)
Completed Security Awareness training relevant for the position (Ref: ISPS Code)
Preference will be given to candidates with Diving Support Vessel experience
