Role Overview:
The service consists in the Maintenance and Inspection engineering review in Mechanical trade, covering the following functions: Master data change in Client CMIMS, issuance of procedures, Maintenance documentation administration, preventive maintenance plan, and other similar activities.
The duties consist of organising and following-up the functions defined here-above.
The work includes close relations with other Field Operations staff including HSE, Production, Inspection and Marine. It also includes direct contacts with the maintenance staff on board the FPSO and with the Contractors.
The duties also include the supervision of engineers which are assigned to specific tasks.
Duration: Ongoing
Basis: 75/21
Indicative Day Rate: Negotiable
Role Activities:
• In charge of integrating small Maintenance re-Engineering project in Client CMIMS
• Create working preventive procedure and request to Unisup resource their implementation
• Create major overhauls maintenance procedures
• Raise material creation form to register missing identified spare parts in CMIMS
• Follow up use of created preventive procedure
• Add spare parts needed in preventive maintenance plan in CMIMS
• Review planned maintenance routines and carry out optimisation studies within the discipline Head to minimise the cost of maintenance whilst retaining an acceptable level of plant and equipment reliability
• Ensure all statutory maintenance to national standards, company requirement and industry best practices is capture in programmed preventive Maintenance and Inspection
• Review the existing maintenance plan in term of estimated hours and spare parts requirement.
• Follow implementation of all changes in CMIMS (function location, spare parts and preventive maintenance)
• Trains and supervises the trade methods technicians in charge of the tasks associated to the above function
• Monitor the progress of re-Engineering project and forecast delivery date
• Provide Weekly and Monthly report activities
• Carry out any other duties that may be assigned by the Hierarchy
• Perform any other work of a similar nature as may be requested by Company
Qualifications & Experience:
• BSC in discipline Engineering or equivalent with minimum 4 years experience of project / operations in the field of maintenance in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Experience in maintenance support and in particular major equipment overhauls.
• Strong Technical knowledge in Aero Derivative Gas Generators (Rolls Royce RB211 preferably), Centrifugal Compressors, firewater pumps, submersible water pump, Process and Utilities valves, Diesel Generator, cargo pump system, pedestal crane etc…
• Experience of Computerised Procurement & Maintenance management systems, and in particular of Unisup (Total application of SAP system).
• Offshore survival certification required
• Excellent communications skills
• Strong Technical report writing background & Fluent English Language (spoken/written)
